1996 * Worked part-time as extras in the WWF *Made small appearances here and there on popular WWF TV shows |

| 1998 * Worked Full-Time as WWF wrestlers. *Joined Tom Prichard and Dory Funk in Dory's Funkin' Dojo Camp It was there they trained with Amy Dumas (their future WWF manager.) * Made Michael Hayes (otherwise known as Doc Hendrix) thier manager. Only appearing on Heat and Shotgun defeated Kaeintai in thier first full time match on Heat. |

1999 *Matt and Jeff get their big break. WWE set Micheal Hayes as their manager. *Hardy Boyz become Tag Team Champions after defeating the Alcolytes. *After losing the titles back to the Alcolytes, Matt and Jeff replaced hayes with Gangrel as their manager and formed the New Brood. *The Hardy Boyz won the Terri Runnels Invitational against Edge and Christian. They won ,000 and the services of Terri after Jeff climed a 15 ft. ladder and snatched the bag of money |

2000 * The Hardyz and Dudleyz fought each other at the 2000 Royal Rumble in a Table match. It was a spectacular match, with tons of awesome table bumps. The Hardys came out victorious in this epic battle. *After purposly costing the Boyz a match Jeff and Matt yelled at Terri. On cue, the APA, whom Terri had come to for help earlier, came down and took the Hardyz out. This signaled the end of teeri's role as their manager. *WrestleMania X6 was Matt and Jeff's first WrestleMania. The Hardyz faced off against the Dudleyz and Edge/Christian in a 30 minute triple threat ladder match. E&C won the Tag Team title belts. *After Wrestlemania both Matt and Jeff wanted the Hardcore Title. Since only one person can hold it, they ended up battling each other for it. Matt eventually won and later lost it to Hardcore Holly. *During the match Matt vs. Essa Rios, Essa used Lita (manager) as a shield from Matt. After Matt won the match Essa took out his anger on Lita and gave her a powerbomb. Jeff and Matt ran back to the ring and rescued Lita and soon after she became their manager. *WWE's first TLC match took place in August. The Hardyz were pinned against the Dudleyz and E&C (who won the match). This match was named the Match of the Year. *At No Mercy Matt and Jeff defeated E&C in a cage match and won the Tag Team titles for the second time. *After the Boyz won the titles the second time, Mick Foley announced that E&C could not challenge the Hardyz for the titles. But E&C managed to fool Mick Foley and dressed in gold outfits and christianed themselves the Conquistadors. They soon defeated the Hardyz. But the Boyz turned the tables and dressed as the Consqistadors hte next night and won the titles back. *In the summer of 2000 the Right To Censor criticized Team Xtreme from Lita's thing to Jeff's hair. htey even tried to convert Jeff over to their side, but failed. this fued ended when RTC cost the Hardy Boyz the Tag Team belts. *The Hardys had a storyline circling the Lita/Malenko story in which the Boyz battled the Radicals. This lasted for a few months. |

2001 *In February 2001 Lita challenged Dean Malenko to a match. Knowing that Lita would pretty much get her ass kicked, Matt ran form the crowds and smashed a chair over Malenko's head, giving Lita the win. Matt was overjoyed about the win that he kissed Lita. She was awestruck about it, and Matt felt rejected and turned away. Lita chased him up the ramp and gave him a smoochie back! *A few weeks before WrestleMania X7, the Hardy Boyz defeated the Dudley Boyz for the Tag Team titles w/ the help from *dum dum duuuum...* Edge and Christian! *The Hardys participated in TLC II, but lost. *After WrestleMania, Team Xtreme went up against the Power Trip (Stone Cold, HHH, and Stephanie McMahon). Lita got the pinfall over Stephanie. Furiated, the Power Trip nearly beat the extreme ones with chairs and finishers. *Jeff attacked Stephanie on Smackdown! due to the Power Trip attack on Lita. Later that night Jeff faced HHH in an IC match and won the title (with a little help from Matt). HHH won it back, however, the following Monday. *Matt defeated Eddie Gurerro for the European Champion title. *Outta nowhere, Eddie Gurerro took a liking to TEam Xtreme in spring 2001. This storyline didn't last long due to Eddie's off-air vacation due to personal problems. *Jeff defeated Mike Awesome for the Hardcore title. *Summer 2001 was a great one with the help of the Jeff vs. RVD fued. The Hardcore title went back and forth between these two. *Jeff got another storyline involving Trish Stratus. After saving her from the Big Show, Trish kissed Jeff in the middle of the ring. Although the angle was supposed to play out through the summer, Trish injured herself and was taken out of action for 2 months. *The Hardys defeated Booker T and Test for the Tag Team titles. *In October 2001, the Hardys defeated Booker T and Test, with a little help from Lita, to become the WCW Tag Team Champions. *A huge fight broke out between Matt and Jeff. The 2 faced of at Vengeance w/ Lita as special guest ref. The team broke apart due to Matt's accusations of Lita helping Jeff win the match. He also broke up with Lita that same night. *Just before Christmas, the high-flyin' team were granted a well-needed 2 month break from t.v. The break was explained on t.v. as massive injuries from the Undertaker's attacks. |

2002 *Lita, Matt, and Jeff returned to t.v. at the Royal Rumble in January 2002. During the bout the trio helped Maven take out the Undertaker. But they weren't seen again until No Way Out. *At Wrestlemania X8 the Hardy Boyz took on the Dudleyz, the APA, and Billy and Chuck in a four way elimination tag team match for the Tag Team titles. Billy and Chuck came out victorious. *As Brock Lesner was first introduced to the WWE in April, a short 2 month fued sparked between the boys and Lesner, which resulted in a match at *Jeff challenged the Undertaker to a ladder match for the Undisputed Championship Title. Jeff lost, but gained 'Taker's respect as he raised Jeff's hand in the air. *Jeff defeated William Regal for the European Title. *After a few months of singles matches Matt debuted his frist promo as a sinlges wrestler, taking the role as Matt Hardy: Version 1, complete with new attire and hand gesture. *On October 7th a very special 'Raw Rulette' episode aired form Las Vegas. Jeff teamed with Rob Vam Dam to battle Christian/Chris Jericho, Bubba/Spike Dudley, and Kane (who was teamed with the Hurricane, but our green haired super hero was taken out back stage by HHH and Ric Flair prior to the match) in a TLC match for the Tag Team titles. Kane defended the titles. *As the year progresses, the boys make names for themselves in the singles division. Jeff also teams with other superstars, including the Hurricane, Tommy Dreamer, and RVD. Matt has storylines that include Brock Lesner, the Undertaker, and teams with John Cena. |

2003 *Shannon Moore becomes Matt's #1 MFer and takes a few beatings from his mentor. *Jeff gets a little agitated and almost turns heel. But a pep talk and some Sweet Chin Music from Shawn Michaels put that boy back on track. The two later became a tag team and defeated Christian and Jericho. *Matt decides to cut weight and challenge Billy Kidman for the Cruiserweight Title. At NO Way Out on February 23, Matt defeated Kidman and held one of the two singles titles on SmackDown. Also at No Way Out, Jeff lost his match against Jericho. *Matt defended his Cruiserweight title at WresltMania against Billy Kidman. *Around this time a storyline between Jeff and Trish Stratus has developed,inlcuding intergender tag matches against Victoria and Steven Richards. *April 22 WWE.com announced that the company and Jeff Hardy have 'severed the relationship'. Many rumors are floating around the internet as to why Jeff left the business, though je often said he wished to focus on his music more. Jeff's last match was against The Rock on Raw. |
